Hall of Fame Dan Gapen Sr., on NEW FINDINGS ON BENTHIC ZONE FISHING RIVERS.
Saturday, January 21, 3:00 pm

Seminar Description

The Benthic Zone is possibly the most important structure to be discovered for the river, and reservoir anglers. The Zones rest on the very bottom of these two structures, and hold at times as much as 80% of the trophy fish. These Zones are in all rivers and reservoirs and fluctuate in size with the temperature of the waters. They're created by the overhead currents they can be as deep as 10 inches, or as shallow as 2 inches. They host NO moving water, thus producing an ideal staging structure for fish to hold in. Dan will provide an overview on the new findings on the Benthic Zone Fishing Rivers and will also bring to the attention the Gapen new Flick Fly, which is a fly/lure the anglers have been asking for. It is easily used on a fly rod, or a spinning rod. Besides catching all species of fresh and salt water fish, this new Flick Fly is the first artificial lure to catch Carp and Suckers.
